Environmental Management

We work at various levels of society to improve the environment of those living in developing countries.  The degradation of the urban and rural environment is fast becoming one of the most critical impacts on the provision of potable water and safe sanitation for the poorer and more vulnerable members of the developing world.  Protecting the environment for its own sake, for economic reasons, and for future generations is receiving more attention in developing countries.  We have experience working with environmental regulatory agencies as well as civil society groups in support of improving environmental management and water quality. Our experience includes:

  • Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Regulatory assessments
  • Development of enforcement and prosecution procedures for environmental management
  • Water quality monitoring systems
  • Assessment of wastewater treatment options
  • Protection of water catchment areas
  • Community waste management
