Public Financial Management and Accountability

The Public Financial Management and Accountability Group provides a team of experienced financial, accounting and auditing experts as well as debt management specialists recognized for their achievements in enhancing accountability and institutional strengthening in the public sector. Projects undertaken by this group have included strengthening the Offices of Auditors General in countries as diverse as Nepal, Jamaica and Vietnam; modernizing the Bangladesh Water Development Board accounting system; improving Cambodia's capacity to manage foreign aid; and strengthening the management capacity of Pakistan's Finance Ministry.
