With a Master’s degree in civil engineering and specializing in solar water pumping, Mr. Carrier joined the Water, Sanitation and Environment group in December 2009. He has over eighteen years of international experience - most recently as Director of the International Office of a leading Canadian university. He brings to Cowater expertise in strategic planning, project design, negotiation and implementation, team building, human resource development, general management, budgeting and cost control, partnership building, and networking with donors, governments, associations and beneficiaries. Mr. Carrier has experience in the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of rural water and sanitation programs in Africa, having worked in Ghana, Lesotho, Morocco and Senegal as a specialist for the Canadian International Development Agency and on assignment for other clients.
