Linda Moffatt, M.Environmental Studies - Gender Equality Specialist

Ms. Moffat has 35 years of experience as a gender equality (GE) practitioner, advisor and trainer. She has provided technical support on GE strategic plans, integration and mainstreaming for twelve CIDA country programs, branches or bilateral projects, several of which involved direct work with local and national government departments and ministries. Throughout her career, Ms. Moffat has developed a wide range of gender analysis and planning tools, gender-integrated LFAs, guidelines, modules and manuals. As Save the Children (UK) Regional Coordinator and Social Protection Advisor for South and Central Asia, she promoted a gender equality approach to child rights programming and management. Ms. Moffat has extensive experience as a gender trainer, and has also served as a resource person on gender equality, community and women’s economic development, cooperatives, and international development in numerous workshops and forums.
